Rapper KRG the Don Called Out For Flaunting Cash
Musician KRG the Donnhas come under heavy criticism after flaunting money on social mediam.
The “Mambo Imechemka” hit maker caused an uproar on social media when he posted a of him sitting in the back seat of a car surrounded by stacks of money.
In the video, the dancehall artist casually discusses ‘a deal’ worth 90 million that he turned down, claiming the amount was insignificant.
Kenyans however didn’t like this video and most of them used the opportunity to heavily condemn him for his insensitivity now that many Kenyans are grappling with poverty.
Eastleigh Businessman and political socialite Alinur Mohamed didn’t hide his disappointment either.
He termed the Musician’s video as an “insensitive display of wealth,” pointing out that millions of Kenyans are currently unable to keep up with inflation which has left many people struggling to afford basic necessities, including food and rent.
“People are currently starving and to some, affording one meal a day is a miracle. Some have not paid rent as low as 4,000 shillings for months and risk getting kicked out with their children. God, please help us, it’s only you who can,” said Alinur.
The video has so far been shared and reposted across all social media platforms.
