Pilot dies after plane crash at a gender reveal party in Mexico.
A family was hosting a ceremony to announce the gender of their unborn child using smoke released by a small plane before the disaster struck.
This stunt brought the plane incredibly close to the ground. As the pyrotechnics involved in the reveal began to go off beneath the pilot, he attempted to pull up. However, this led to the wings of his plane crumpling, rendering him unable to fly.
This resulted in a crash that left 32 year old pilot Luis Ángel in critical condition. While he was taken to the hospital to try and treat his injuries, he died before the doctors were able to stabilize him.
Those at the gender reveal appeared oblivious to the unfurling tragedy, as the plane began to crash.
Before realizing the tragedy that had occurred, the couple continued to embrace while family members congratulated them.
