Content Creators Give BCLB 48 Hours to Suspend Gambling Promotion Ban
Content creators have issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB), demanding the suspension of its recent ban on celebrities and influencers promoting gambling.
Speaking at a press briefing on the evening of Wednesday, June 4, the creators urged the board to open dialogue and seek a balanced approach.
“We respectfully urge BCLB to suspend the ban and sit with us within 48 hours for discussions on this matter,” they said. “We’re ready to engage and work toward a model that supports responsible advertising with age-restriction guidelines.”
