The High Court in Eldoret heard shocking details about how Jackton Odhiambo, the prime suspect in the murder of LGBTQ activist Edwin Kiptoo alias Chiloba, went on a spending spree immediately after the victim’s murder – using Chiloba’s money for various transactions including entertainment, hotels, massage parlous, taxi services and even sex dens.
Witnesses, including a data analyst, massage therapist, forensic expert and government analyst, testified against Odhiambo, revealing that he left Chiloba’s decomposing body in his house while squandering the deceased’s funds.
Transactions conducted using Chiloba’s M-pesa number have been scrutinized, with evidence presented of money being spent on purchasing a metallic box where Chiloba’s body was eventually found.
