Ruto’s Office Allocated Ksh.5.1B, Gachagua to Get Ksh.4.8B: Inside Ksh.4 Trillion Budget
President William Ruto’s office has been allocated Ksh.5.1 billion in the new proposed budget, while Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s office will receive Ksh.4.8 billion. This allocation is part of the Ksh.4 trillion budget that has been approved by Parliament.
The allocation for the President’s office includes funds for various programs and initiatives, including the facilitation of engagements and enhancing coordination in the office. The Office of the Spouse of the Deputy President will focus on concerted efforts to uplift the boychild in society. The budget includes funds for identifying and screening 12,000 boys for drug and substance abuse, facilitating 18 camps in different counties, training 2,400 boys, 1,000 widows, and 40 widows’ groups, and conducting ten sensitization activities.
