In India, village owners carried a dead body to the bank to withdraw funeral funds.
The Indian man from Eastern State Mahesh Yadav, 55, died on Tuesday 12th in the eastern state of Bihar. The villagers’ report says that the older adult died after falling sick for a long time and left no family.
They decided to find valuables for his burial and what they could get was only his bank passbook with some amount recorded. They then decided to carry it to the bank to get some cash for his burial.
According to the police report, the villagers arrived at the bank carrying the passbook, and Mahesh’s corpse refused to go until the bank manager agreed to release the funds.
