In the year 1988, Bangangte Cameroon brought forth a gifted child .Her name would be Irma Pany. Speak of her guitarist father and church choir singer mother and there you have her.A cocktail of both mother and father in their honourable talents. Before moving to Paris France in her teens to improve her education in 2007, Irma grew up in Douala where she fell in love with the piano at 7 years.

France would later reveal to the world , one of its biggest You Tube success Stories, a soul pop singer /songwriter and producer. Talented Irma would then go from performing acoustic covers in her teenage bedroom to finally duetting with international acts such as Will I am and Celine Dion on the popular video site.

2007 is a memorable year for Irma as it is the very year she started uploading renditions of Michael Jackson, Lauryn Hill and through You Tube she was able to sign to My Major Company Label, the first French crowdfunding lavel, a year later.
She surprisingly attained an impressive mark of 70,000 euros in 48 hours, thus becoming the fastest fund raised musical project.

Way before her latest jam Va-t’en which is a mixture of sweet vocal content and catchy video shot in the best mother nature setting, Irma had already flown to Hudson New York to record her first album “Letter to the Lord” of course with celebrated American producer of Lenny Kravitz, Henry Hirsch. Europe would end up becoming her second home, touring for a year after the release of the record in early 2011. Her single “I know” lifted her to top 10 together with the parent album.

Guess who became the face of Google’s European campaign ! Irma didnt settle for less in 2012., a spot which celebrated her rise to stardom thus pushing her career to a worldwide level. It didnt come as a surprise that she got nominated for MTV Europe music awards and signed a U.S deal with Universal Republic and released her second album.

April 8th 2022 is the exact date Irma has set aside for her next album release which collaborates a number of cameroonian artistes. This comes handy after her Europe, Asia and America tour while writing original soundtracks for French series.

At the moment Va-t’en is the talk of the continent from its vocal richness and picture ideas invested in the video .The video takes note of epic sceneries, animals and significant streets to bring out a great aesthetic feeling of great music .Va-t’en is on its way to 80K views as we speak .
