Cliff Moses, a digital journalist for RMS, has died. According to sources close to Mpasho, Mr. Moses’ death was discovered in his home this morning. Mr. Moses may have committed suicide, according to early information from our source. Cliff worked as a video editor and motion graphic artist at Royal Media Service (Citizen TV) from 2017 till his death.
This tragic news came just months after another media professional committed suicide. Alex Nderi aka DJ Lithium, a Capital FM DJ, died inside the media house offices on January 19th of this year. He died in a Nairobi hospital while undergoing treatment. The deejay apparently deleted all of his social media accounts before composing a suicide note, according to insiders.
When he walked to the bathroom, he ended his life, leaving behind a suicide note at his desk, which colleagues claimed would be left for the family to read. The deejay returned to the offices and fell, with his coworkers feverishly attempting to revive him. They even dialled 911 for help, but it was too late. Counselors, doctors, and psychiatrists suggest that if you are having mental health problems, you should always get help. For assistance, dial 1199, the Kenya Red Cross toll-free number.
