Two schools in Mombasa have sent students home following the rise of covid cases in Schools.
The Mombasa County Commissioner Gilbert Kitiyo has confirmed the news.
The two schools will be ready for learning after two weeks.
Teachers and students samples have been tested and results are expected to be out sometime next week.
Since the reopening of schools, covid cases have been on the rise and Mombasa County is amongst the areas where the rise has been experienced.
In a special report shared by the management of Star of the Sea Secondary School, they highlighted the need for fumigation in school and when the school will be ready for learning.
