DP RUTO announces joint UDA, ANC rallies starting this week in Nakuru, Western and Central; after political rapport with Mudavadi.

The major announcement came on Sunday, when Mudavadi officially began his presidential campaign in Bomas, Kenya, in front of Ruto and several other political luminaries.

Ruto, the UDA presidential candidate, has announced a series of rallies beginning this Wednesday to whip up support for the newly formed coalition with Ford Kenya and William Kabogo’s Tubebe party ahead of the August 9 elections.

The DP, who was present at the ANC national delegates’ conference that approved Mudavadi, revealed that the two had been talking about collaborating.

He said the joint political effort will commence with back to back rallies starting in Nakuru Wednesday, Western Kenya on Friday and the third one in Central Kenya on Saturday.

“We have heard in-depth discussions with my brothers. We will make whatever sacrifices that need to be made to take Kenya to the next level, this will take the hand of God and the people of Kenya” the DP said.

“The journey to bring this unity together has started in Bomas, our next stop will be in Nakuru, Wednesday, Friday in Western, and Central Kenya on Saturday. We will tell you what the journey will look like. Ours will be a discussion, conversation and a journey involving millions of Kenyans, time is of the essence and it is about time” he stated.

Ruto described the ANC party leader as a man who is tested, focused and able to drive the nation’s agenda with his ‘Uchumi Bora, Pesa Mfukoni economic model.

“ Mudavadi has spoken for many Kenyans and to the heart of our nation. I am confident that he is equal to the task. Today marks a turning point to the politics of Kenya, a new page to the political discourse of this nation” said Ruto in reference to Mudavadi’s speech.

He pledged to work together with other like-minded parties, promising to raise the bar of political leadership in Kenya.
