Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders are holding a series of political meetings and demonstrations in Taita Taveta and Kilifi counties today. Before beginning their planned demonstrations in Taita Taveta and Kilifi counties, the principals held a morning consultation meeting with Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders from Taita Taveta county.
The campaign team is led by deputy president William Ruto, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and FORD Kenya party leader Senator Moses Wetangula.” Meeting Taita Taveta county grassroot leaders alongside deputy president William Ruto and senator Moses Wetangula drawn from ANC, UDA and FORD Kenya parties at Voi Safari lodge before a series of rallies lined up today” wrote ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi on his official Facebook page.
The conference was attended by a number of Taita Taveta leaders who are part of the Kenya Kwanza coalition. John Mruttu, a former Taita Taveta governor, and Lydia Haika, a Taita Taveta women’s representative, are among them.Kikuyu legislator Kimani Ichungwa and Kiharu legislator Ndindi Nyoro were also present in the morning meeting.
