20 year old girl from Ndarawetta Girls Secondary School in Bomet died after jumping off a classroom building on Thursday morning .
Students are said to have discovered her body as they were attending their normal morning preps where they reported to the school administration who immediately called the police.
She is said to have have committed suicide due to depression after finding a note in her desk saying she wanted to meet her God and wished her parents well and a good life.
“Our investigation shows that she was disturbed… We found a note inside the locker in her classroom stating that she wanted to meet her God. She also wished her parents and family the best in life,” the Central sub-county police commander Musa Imamai said after they carried out their investigations.
The police boss however advised teachers to make sure that they give students necessary advise now and then to ensure they get the required advise to make sure they avoid such cases happening.
“Let us be close to these children whether in school or at home so that such incidents can be prevented,” he said. Her body was removed and taken to Longisa referral hospital.
