Former AFC Leopards goal getter Elvis Rupia is back into the country from Saudi Arabia and has puts pen to paper at Police FC

Elvis Rupia, a former AFC Leopards striker, has ended his contract with Al Bisha FC, a Saudi Arabian second-tier club, just five months after joining. The club confirmed the news on their social media sites, and the former AFC Leopards striker has already returned to the country.

Elvis Rupia joined the team following a successful season with AFC Leopards, where he finished second in the FKF Premier League top scorers table. Before offering him a lucrative deal, Al Bisha offered him a trial period. The Saudi Arabian club, on the other hand, has struggled, winning only three times, drawing three times, and losing 14 of its 20 matches since Rupia joined.

The 26-year-old striker appears to have fallen short of Al Bisha’s expectations, as the team struggles to stay in the league next season. The club has opted to restructure the playing unit, and Elvis Rupia is one of the players who will be cut.

Initially, Rupia had been heavily linked with a move to Tusker, with whom he had signed a pre-contract but ended up picking the offer from the Saudi second-tier side instead. “Rupia left the country over the weekend to complete the move to Bisha FC,” a source close to the player told Goal. “It is a rather short-term deal which will run for one year.”
