FOUR COLLEGE STUDENTS SPEND NIGHTS IN CUSTODY FOR TRESPASSING ON A PARCEL OF LAND OWNED BY FORMER KIAMBU GOVERNOR WILLIAM KABOGO

Unable to raise a thousand shillings in order to be released from custody the four students ended up staying for five days in cell for trespassing former Kiambu governor land William Kabogo.

The four were arrested on Monday in Kimbo area near Ruiru all walking in an open field behind Nairobi Institute of Business Studies (NIBS) college.

They were later charged with trespass before Thika Chief magistrate court where they denied the allegations and were offered a cash bail of a thousand shillings each that they were unable to raise.

Among the four one was a female student all spending nights in Thika police cells untill they can raise the cash bail given to them by the court order.

The four await their next trials from the accusations made after them denying the allegations before.
