Kalonzo Musyoka, the Wiper leader, and Moses Wetang’ula, the Ford Kenya counterpart, had a tight relationship. This was revealed during a Citizen TV interview with Kalonzo on Friday evening, during which he discussed a variety of topics. The Wiper leader revealed that he and the Bungoma Senator had a tight relationship. Kalonzo expressed his longing for Wetangula and stated that Kenyans should not be surprised if they saw him in his camp. “Wetang’ula is one of my favorite places in the world. With Wetangula, I’ve struggled and endured. Don’t be surprised if he shows up at my house “Kalonzo remarked.
“I pray for Wetangula to leave Kenya Kwanza and join Azimio la Umoja every day and night.” Wetang’ula and Kalonzo may be best friends. Kalonzo was honest in imploring Bungoma senator William Ruto to reconsider his decision shortly after the Wetang’ula and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi switched to his side. He openly stated that Mudavadi may depart, but begged Wetang’ula to return, claiming that they had been together for a long time and that it would be unworthy to lose their friendship over the DP.
Wetang’ula, on the other hand, has publicly defended Kalonzo whenever he has been criticized. Kalonzo drew a lot of criticism from a part of politicians after he made public his 2017 coalition deal with Raila, which Wetang’ula didn’t like. Even as he urged that the Wiper chief be respected, the Ford Kenya leader publicly chastised Makau Mutua and a slew of other leaders for criticizing him. Kalonzo revealed in the same Friday interview that Wetang’ula was used to try to draw him to Kenya Kwanza, implying that the Ruto camp was aware of their friendship.
