Irene Koech, a young UDA MCA aspirant from Shabab ward in Nakuru, is using camel and a simple megaphone to continue with her campaigns

Irene Njeri Koech is a candidate for the County Assembly. Irene Njeri Koech said she campaigns on a camel because she doesn’t have the funds to acquire a car, citing Kenya’s current fuel scarcity and rising gasoline prices as reasons.

She also stated that she chose a camel as her animal of choice because it is a modest creature. She also stated that she came from a humble family and that she will bear all of Shabab’s burdens.

She also mentioned the youth’s lack of employment opportunities. She claimed that while Kenyan youths have degrees, they are unemployed. She also advises the youth that money isn’t everything, but having the confidence and enthusiasm to pursue anything is. She urged young people to vote for her during the UDA nominations on April 14th.
