Under mysterious circumstances, OKA principals have stormed out of Kenya’s Bomas. Storming out of the conference room were businessman Jimi Wanjigi, Senator Gideon Moi, and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
Following reports that DP William Ruto would be present, they are believed to have altered their minds at the last minute. Ruto associates were also spotted at the ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi’s Bomas conference, implying a probable partnership with UDA.
Among those present were Murang’a senator Irungu Kang’ata, LSK’s Nelson Havi, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa among others.
Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who was also present, suddenly away under mysterious circumstances. Last week, the One Kenya Alliance was rocked by a battle of words between Kalonzo and Mudavadi’s allies. As a bitter rupture looms, the chance of an unified presidential Oka flagbearer has dwindled considerably.
Mudavadi’s troops accused Kalonzo of insincerity and rigidity in his presidential bid, saying the Wiper boss is not ready to listen to the opinions of others in the tattered alliance. Kalonzo’s men hit back, accusing Mudavadi of always having one leg out the door and challenged him to be clear on his commitment to the alliance.
