Keroche Boss Tabitha Karanja has won Nakuru UDA senate ticket

Tabitha Karanja, the CEO of Keroche, was elected to the UDA ticket for the Nakuru senate seat, while Lisa Chelule was elected to the women representative post. With 98,439 votes, the Keroche CEO stomped five other contenders to win the ticket. Karanja, who recently changed her surname to Keroche, thanked everyone who voted for her in the primary for their faith in her when accepting her nomination.

“I would want to express my gratitude to the people of Nakuru in particular for nominating me as the flag bearer for the Senate position on a UDA ticket; I am humbled and pleased.” Tabitha promised the voters that she would work extra hard to win the seat in the August elections. The businesswoman turned politician expressed confidence in her ability to win the election.
The UDA nominee promised to cooperate with her opponents who were defeated in the nomination process to ensure that she is elected to the Senate on August 9. “I also want to congratulate my competitors for accepting defeat, and I guarantee them that I will work with them because I understand they have a manifesto that I will accommodate, and combined with mine, we will make Nakuru what we have always desired.”

Lisa Chelule, meantime, has received a UDA ticket for the Nakuru Woman Representative seat.
