Rabbit farming has a limitless potential that has, for many years, remained underexploited. Besides its tender meat, there is a wide range of high-value items from its skin (fishing) and wastes (soil additives). The exploitation of this tradeline offers a fertile ground in empowering our youth and women, which will lead to achieving long term collective objective of improving our livelihoods. Presenting rabbits to more than 20 youth and women groups at DCC quarters in Kidutani, honourable Ken Chonga marked phase one roll out of rabbit farming as one way of agribusiness project in Kilifi South.
