In what might look a nasty and messy visit has turned out to be the best and eye-catching visit for the embattled Deputy President, William Samoei Ruto.
Earlier on, Kisii town had been mured by rowdy and uncalled for youths who were demonstrating the visit of the second in command, Ruto. The situation ran for sometimes before police controlled the messy situation, and all fall in place immediately after the commanding, energetic deputy president landed in Kisii.
Photos of the visit left many citizens tongues wagging after they depicted the beautiful welcome and how the Kisii residents embraced the deputy president in a peaceful and loving way.
In his visit, the deputy president was accompanied by the deputy governor Kisii county Joash Maangi and Mugirango South Member of Parliament.
In his speech, Ruto took his chance to strike back to his political rivals and cemented on that no one will be able to stop him from attending Kenyans.
“Mnaskia uyule jamaa mwingine akiuliza eti kwa nini naibu rais anatangamana na watu ya bodaboda na mama mboga. Unajua yeye alizaliwa katika familia ya kifalme na babake alikuwa makamu wa rais wa hii nchi. Na sasa haelewi ni kwa nini niko karibu na hustlers,” said Ruto.
