Molo MP Kuria Kimani has ditched Jubilee to join United Democratic Alliance party led by Deputy President William Ruto.

Kuria Kimani, a Molo Member of Parliament, has joined the United Democratic Alliance, which is led by Deputy President William Ruto. Ruto welcomed the MP to the UDA party at his official Karen residence. On a Jubilee ticket, the MP was elected to his first term in office. In the primaries, he will run for the UDA ticket.

“I have served my Jubilee Party diligently. As I look forward to serving the people of Molo as their Member of Parliament for another term, I will be seeking this mandate through United Democratic Alliance (UDA),” he stated on his Twitter handle.
Other leaders present during his welcoming include Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua and his Kiharu counterpart Ndindi Nyoro. “Karibu to UDA – Kazi ni Kazi Molo MP, Hon Kuria Kimani (KK). The Hustler Nation received Hon CPA KK Sunday Morning. Karibu sana Bro,” MP Nyoro stated on Facebook.
Kimani had been leaning towards the Handshake team for some time before he went under. He was probably thinking about his political future when he decided to join the DP’s camp. A good number of Mount Kenya politicians have lately been seen joining Ruto’s UDA party while few have been seen supporting the opponent’s Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga.
