President Uhuru has recently received insults from the Deputy President’s political followers, sighting his failure to keep his word on the agreement they had with William Ruto.
However, during the meeting in Sagana that brought most of the Mount Kenya political class together, the president defended himself against the statements.

While addressing MCAs from Mt.Kenya in Sagana State Lodge, he stated that he has not publicly mentioned his intentions to revoke the agreement he had with the DP.
“I have never said I will not support William Ruto, why do you keep insulting me?
“Yes, I said kumi kumi, yangu kumi iliisha lini? “ He reiterated.
The president insisted on unity and let politics aside for the remaining period until when the right comes. But for now, he urged the political class to focus on development.
He also emphasized his intentions to promote cohesion among Kenyans and not let this country fall into chaos after his term.
Uhuru Kenyatta made it clear that he would never go back o his promises and the DP’s allies should stop accusing him.
