Since sartuday different groups have been camping at Mount Kenya over the forest fire that has been ongoing.
The conservationist said that 16,000 acres of moorland in Mount Kenya have been destroyed since sartuday by the fire that was still there till Thursday.
Not being the first case of forest fires in the country however, the fire gas caused alot of damage which could even get worse.
The destruction caused is said to may lead to further consequences if at all heavy rains are going to occur in the region.
Flooding may be experienced in certain places if heavy rains will take place out of the damage that has been caused by the fire.
The groups there have however tried to put out the fire to stop it from spreading as they could.
