A section of Kenyans were left puzzled after receiving messages from Safaricom, one of the leading telecommunication companies in Kenya , with the code 44444. The odd message read, “Test” left many wondering what has happened to the company’s systems.
In response, Safaricom said that the message was as a result of their system fault and they were working to resolve the problem. Later that day, the company apologized for the error to its customers, imploring them to ignore it.
