Turkana MPs Emanikor, Lokiru, Lomenen have ditched UDA for Jubilee

Deputy President William Ruto has been dealt another setback after three Turkana county MPs defected to the Jubilee party. On Friday, Jubilee director of elections, and Kieni MP Kanini Kega welcomed new members to the ruling party: Joyce Emanikor (County MP), James Lomenen (Turkana South), and Lokiru Ali Mohammed (Turkana East). The MP stated in a statement that he believes Azimio la Umoja will win the presidency. “Turkana is a Jubilee Zone!” says the narrator. They’ve walked away from UDA! “We’re going to win this!” After sharing photographs of the MP, Kanini stated

The ruling Jubilee Party has been on the lookout for powerful figures in order to win them to their side. Earlier in the day, Bahati was welcomed into the Jubilee party, when he announced his candidacy for the Mathare parliamentary seat. The Jubilee Party is presently accepting applications from those interested in running for various elected posts. Richard Ngatia, the former President of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), handed his nomination papers to the Jubilee party on Friday.
He is running for governor of Nairobi. “We’re clean, we’re prepared, and we’re Nairobi.” Ngatia Richard, Jubilee, and Azimio are their names. My Nomination Papers were handed to the Jubilee Party Headquarters today. “Asante Nairobi,” remarked Ngatia. He was also one of DP Ruto’s point men in the western region, with Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa. Waluke’s departure from UDA, according to Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi, and Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati, is a huge triumph for the Azimio campaigns in Western Kenya..
