A shocking double murder has rocked the village of Gitugi, Mathioya, in Murang’a County, Kenya. Residents are left fear and grief after a man recently released from prison allegedly killed two people just moments after his release.
The suspect, identified by locals, was reportedly jailed seven years ago for the brutal murders of an elderly couple, Keziah Muthoni and Joseph Geita. After serving his sentence, he was released two days ago. However, tragedy struck again on the same day.
Deadly Encounter in Local Bar
According to reports, the suspect became enraged during an argument at a local bar in Chui Village. In a senseless attack, he allegedly hacked two men, Stanley Kamau Irungu and Benard Mahiu Mwangi (both 44 years old), to death.
