Detained former Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa was rushed to Karen Hospital on Saturday due to a reported deterioration in his pneumonia and high cholesterol levels that could lead to further health complications.
Echesa had been held at Muthaiga police cells since Thursday night, pending arraignment on Tuesday over allegations of extortion and staged abduction.
