JUST IN National Assembly Approves Erastus Ethekon as IEBC Chair and Six Commissioners
The National Assembly has unanimously approved Erastus Edung Ethekon as Chairperson of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). Alongside him, Ann Njeri Nderitu, Moses Alutalala Mukhwana, Mary Karen Sorobit, Hassan Noor Hassan, Francis Odhiambo Aduol, and Fahima Araphat Abdallah were approved as IEBC Commissioners.
This approval clears the way for the full reconstitution of the electoral body, just 18 months before Kenya’s next General Elections.
